Here is the Frequently Asked Questions about Facebook integration with olist shops. Do you still have doubts? Contact the customer support directly in the app, in the settings tab.

Do I need to create a Facebook Pixel?

It’s not necessary to do any Pixel configuration, within Facebook, before the integration.

We have already configured the app to set all the necessary information during the integration process, so your pixel can work correctly. If you already have a Facebook pixel and want to use it, it can be selected during the integration. Do you want to know more about Pixel? Click here.

Do I need to create a Catalog on Facebook?

During the integration, a catalog will be created with the existing products in your olist shops store. The products are copied automatically. You can do everything in the app, to have as little effort as possible.

I can’t finish my integration. Why is my business account still not accepted?

Facebook can approve your business account in minutes or it can take up to 4 weeks to review your account.

We recommend you to keep an eye on your e-mail and/or Business Manager, as it is through these channels that Facebook informs you when the Business Account is activated. When it gets the approval, just launch the Olist Shops app > Integrations and sales channels, then click on the button: Check again.

My account is not able to post my products on Facebook and Instagram

When creating the business account, it is necessary to select the checkout option as a Website and not as a message.

If the business account was created using the message checkout method, we recommend deleting this account and creating a new one.

You need to delete the business account following the tutorial below:

  1. Access the Business Manager and select your store.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Settings.

  3. Click Edit in the upper-right corner of the Business Account Information section.

  4. Click Disable Account.

  5. Enter your Facebook password and click Confirm.

  6. Choose an option or explain your reason to disable the account.

  7. Click Disable Account.

  8. Once this is done, you will recreate your trading account by following these steps here.

I can't select my Ad account or create a new one during integration.

Facebook allows you to create only two ad accounts per user, possibly your accounts need more validation. To do it, access the Account Quality page

On the right-hand side, click on the instructions option.

Ad accounts are generally accepted after setting up 2-step verification. When accessing the side button, Facebook redirects to the page with the guidelines.

If I remove my integration, is my product feed removed from Facebook?

Yes, when the integration is removed the products are also removed from Facebook. To send the products back to Facebook, just reactivate the integration and everything will be updated automatically.
